Jungle book
Developing is like living and working in the jungle, the inexperienced developer ventures in for the safari of a life time.
The developer gets permission to enter the jungle from the council (game wardens). Your guide (planner) does there best to keep you out of trouble.
Obstacles along the way.
Quicksand : expenditure, once in, there is no way out. You have to stay still and be patient till help arrives
Foilage : the paper work required to traverse through to your destination. Your clearing tools for the jungle is money. Diseases will slow you down : stress, anger, frustration and the biggest of all, “ “ego” – if it goes through your camp it will quickly spread to the rest of the jungle and affect man and beast.
Moving through the jungle you encounter all kinds of animals; The elephant: is the the developer who has the responsibility to get everybody to their destination. The large cat varieties: lion, cheata and cougars. these are the contractors who make the most noise. You don’t get in their way, you just feed them money and they are content.
The primates : gorillas and their smaller cousins are the agents, they scamper around the jungle foliage providing entertainment waiting for the right time to forage through your possessions.
Bird life : they provide the music. They are the onloookers, the fly-by-nighters who always have something to say, the self proclaimed experts.
You come within reach of your dream, you are in the clearing and you think your adventure is over and then the KING OF THE JUNGLE appears on your path. The endangered GREEN FROG is the unforseen hurdle and sometimes it actually is a protected green frog or a platypus. Everything stops until they are safe and happy.
Moral of the story, take care of the Green Frog first, get a Ego vaccination and plenty of supplies, Money!
