Humans are not the enemy
All levels of government spend money on tree planting and then have to spend more money and Human Resources on nurturing these trees.
When people buy a block in a new estate, they build their new home and then start on the garden. The average home owner will plant 2 to 5 trees which works out roughly 20 – 40 trees per acre. These trees are nurtured to maturity, at no cost to the public.
Humans also plant vegies, flowers and shrubs.
Residential developments contribute enormously to greening the planet.
