I’ve been hearing a lot lately about the rental crisis, and I think there’s a potential solution that we should explore. I’ve noticed that many rental vacancies are being taken up by people who are waiting for their land to be titled and their house to be built. This leads to a shortage of available rental properties, which drives up the cost of rent and makes it difficult for many people to find affordable housing.

I believe that one way we could help alleviate the rental crisis is by opening up more development land and making more affordable blocks of land available for purchase. This would allow people to build their own homes and take the pressure off the rental market. By increasing the supply of available land, we could help create more options for people who are looking to own their own home.

What do you think? Do you believe that opening up more development land and offering more affordable blocks of land would help solve the rental crisis? Let’s start a conversation and see if we can come up with some solutions that work for everyone.
